Custom Snowcross Trophies Built for a Winter Podium

Snowcross is presented outdoors, in winter, to riders wearing gloves. Nobody is taking a glove off at minus ten to accept an award, and nothing about the ceremony is going to be lingered over. It is the one racing podium where the handover is genuinely the constraint.

A trophy that works there is a different shape from one designed for a stadium.

MX Trophies designs and manufactures custom snowcross trophies for snowmobile race weekends, regional winter series, junior programmes and vintage classes. We build around your class structure, your event branding and your sponsors — the same way we do across every discipline we supply.

Everything is designed, printed, laser-cut, assembled and shipped from the USA, with free digital proofs before production.

Snowcross Events We Support

We produce snowcross trophies for:

  • Pro Open and Pro Lite classes
  • Sport, Sportsman and Trail divisions
  • Junior and youth classes
  • Womens divisions
  • Vintage and antique snowmobile classes
  • Regional winter series rounds
  • Season points championships
  • Club, groomer crew and volunteer recognition

A winter series is compressed into a few months, so a season’s worth of awards is usually ordered as one job rather than round by round. That works in your favour: one artwork approval covers every round.

Custom Acrylic Snowcross Trophies

A clean, modern choice for race weekends of any size.

  • Fully custom printed graphics
  • Precision laser-cut shapes
  • Lightweight and durable
  • Ideal for class podiums across a winter series

Printed acrylic has no coating to lift and no plating to spot, which is worth having on an award that goes from a cold podium into a warm truck and back out again. Acrylic against metal and wood sets out the differences.

Layered Snowcross Championship Awards

For overall winners and the end of a winter series.

Features include:

  • Multi-layer acrylic construction
  • Raised dimensional elements
  • Custom shapes (sled silhouettes, mountain and track outlines, event logos)
  • Branded base options

Layers give a championship piece presence without the weight, which matters when the presentation table is outdoors and everything on it has to be carried back.

QTR MIDGET RACING Trophies

Fully Custom Snowcross Event Trophies

For sanctioned rounds and sponsor-backed weekends, we design from scratch:

  • Sled silhouette and track-shaped trophies
  • Terrain and course-inspired layouts
  • Sponsor-integrated graphics
  • Oversized overall champion awards

You provide the event details, logos and class breakdown. We handle layout and proofing before production — preparing your logo for trophies covers what makes a first proof come back right.

  • Novice and Sportsman divisions

Built for Cold, Gloves & Outdoor Ceremonies

A snowcross presentation happens outside, in the cold, often with snow still falling and always with everyone in full gear.

Our trophies are:

  • Shapes with a clear place to grip through a glove
  • No sharp corners or thin points to catch a mitt
  • Finished to photograph against snow and low winter light
  • Light enough to carry back to a trailer one-handed

Photographing an award against snow is a genuine design constraint: a pale or clear piece disappears. A printed or coloured face against a dark base is what keeps it visible in the shot.

Many snowcross organizers also need:

Keeping the awards and the event items on one visual identity strengthens the whole presentation and gives sponsors something consistent to appear on across a short winter season.

Why Snowcross Organizers Choose MX Trophies

  • Free custom artwork proofs before anything is produced
  • USA-based design, printing, cutting and assembly
  • Awards designed for a gloved handover, not just a display shelf
  • One approval covering a whole compressed winter series
  • Clear communication from proof through to despatch

A winter series does not leave much room between rounds, which is the argument for treating the season as one order rather than several. Tell us the round dates and we will build the programme around them. Event award planning is worth a look if the presentation itself is still being planned.

Snowcross Trophy FAQs

Will an acrylic award be brittle in the cold?

The practical risk outdoors is not the material, it is the shape: thin projections and sharp points are what break when an award is handled in gloves or set down on frozen ground. We design snowcross pieces with the mass in the base and no fragile extremities.

Our ceremony is outside and short. What works best?

Something with an obvious place to hold it and enough contrast to photograph against snow. A dark base with a printed face does both, and it survives being handed over by someone who is not going to take a glove off.

Can we order the whole winter series at once?

Yes, and most organizers do. One artwork approval covers every round, with the round and class printed per run. It also means a mid-season round is not waiting on a fresh design.

Do you make awards for vintage snowmobile classes?

Yes. Vintage classes usually want a different look from the pro classes, and a wood-and-acrylic build reads closer to the era than a modern layered piece. We can run both under one event identity.

Ideas for a podium held in the cold

Every snowcross award is handed over outdoors, below freezing, to someone wearing gloves. Seven snowcross trophy ideascovers what follows from that: a shape with somewhere to grip, contrast that survives being photographed against snow, one approval for a compressed season, and why vintage classes want a different era.
