Little League & T-Ball Trophies

End-of-season awards for every division of a youth baseball league, from t-ball and coach pitch to the oldest players

Short answer

A youth baseball league usually needs two kinds of award. In t-ball and coach pitch, every player gets one, all the same. In the older divisions, the league crowns a champion, recognizes a runner-up and picks all-stars, and teams give a few individual awards of their own. We design both from your league logo and build them in acrylic, wood and metal, printed in full color. One design can cover every division with the name changed. A single team can order on its own, and the league board approves a design proof before anything is made.

One league design, every division

A recreational league is a long list of teams across several age divisions, coached by parents, sponsored by local businesses and wrapped up on one closing day. The awards are ordered by one volunteer on the board who has to get every team covered.

Semi-custom awards make that manageable: your league artwork on a stock body, with the division and the season printed on each. Every player in the league gets something that matches, and the order is one design repeated. The HD Series and WB Series are the two bodies to compare.

For travel teams and high school programs, see baseball trophies. This page is about the recreational league season.

Everyone gets an award, then earned awards

Most recreational leagues draw a line by age. In the youngest divisions there are no standings worth the name, so every player gets the same award. In the older divisions, where scores are kept and teams compete for a title, the awards are earned. The middle divisions are where leagues differ, and either choice is reasonable as long as the board makes it before the order goes in.

Participation awards looks at where to draw the line and how to keep the every-player award distinct from the champion award.

Counting for a whole league

Start from the registration list, not the team count. Every rostered player in the every-player divisions gets one, plus the coaches if your league includes them. Then add champion sets at the roster size of the winning team, which you will not know until the end, so order to the largest roster in that division.

Names on t-ball awards are lovely and a lot of work. If the league has the roster spelled correctly, we can print names; if not, an award with the league, the team name and the season is what most leagues give, and parents do not miss the name.

Closing day, team parties and banquets

Some leagues hand everything out on closing day at the field; others leave it to each team’s pizza party. If teams give their own individual awards, baseball and softball award ideas has names for every player on the roster, and sports award categories has the longer list. For the party itself see end-of-season party ideas, and for the league-wide night see end-of-season awards.

Order the league design once and reorder each spring and fall with the season changed. A player who goes from t-ball to the oldest division ends up with a shelf of awards that clearly belong together.

What to send us

  • The league name and logo.
  • Each division with its number of teams and rostered players.
  • Which divisions get an award for every player and which get champion and all-star awards.
  • Team sponsors to thank, with their logos if they go on the plaque.
  • The closing day date or the date each team needs its awards.

The board gets a design proof to check, and nothing is made until it is approved. Work back from closing day and contact us for the current lead time; how far in advance to order explains how. Softball and other team sports are in the Recognition Library.

Little League & T-Ball Trophies FAQs

Should every t-ball player get a trophy?

Most leagues give every t-ball player the same award, because there are no standings at that age. The older divisions are where earned awards usually begin.

How many trophies does a youth baseball league need?

One per rostered player in the every-player divisions, plus champion sets sized to the largest roster in each older division, plus all-stars, coaches and sponsors.

Can one design cover t-ball through the oldest division?

Yes. The usual approach is one league design with the division and season changed on each award.

Can player names go on t-ball trophies?

Yes, if the league can send a roster with names spelled correctly. Many leagues print the team and season instead and skip names.

Do you make plaques for team sponsors?

Yes. A sponsor plaque with the team name, the season and the sponsor’s logo is a common way to thank the businesses that fund a team.

Can a single team order its own awards?

Yes. There is no minimum order, so one team’s set is a normal order.
