Custom awards for youth leagues, travel ball tournaments and school teams, designed from your team’s own artwork

Short answer

Youth baseball awards come in two kinds: season awards from a league to its teams and players, and tournament awards for travel ball weekends. Both need a champion piece for every player, then a short list of individual awards for pitching, hitting and fielding. We design them from your league or team logo and build them in acrylic, wood and metal, printed in full color. They are designed awards, not catalog figures. There is no minimum order, and a proof is approved before production.

First, second and third place awards on wood bases with printed acrylic faces and cut metal numerals

Two different orders: the league and the tournament

A recreational league orders once a year, for every division at once, and usually wants something for every player in the younger age groups. A travel ball tournament director orders for a weekend, for champions and finalists in each age bracket, with no names known in advance. The awards can look similar. The lists are not.

Either way, the design comes from your artwork. A league’s crest, a team’s logo or a tournament mark becomes the award itself: acrylic cut to the shape of a home plate, a pennant, a ball or the logo, with the division and the season printed on it.

For a league-wide order where one design repeats across many teams, see semi-custom awards. For a one-off piece such as a league championship award, see custom awards.

Award lists you can copy

The table shows a season list for one team and a tournament list for one age bracket side by side. Most organizers need only one column.

Age groups, travel ball and school teams

In a youth league, the youngest divisions usually keep no standings, so the award is the same for every player and carries the team name and the season. From the middle age groups up, leagues add division champions and individual awards. Order the whole league together so the designs relate.

Travel ball awards are made before the weekend, so they carry the tournament name, the age bracket and the placing but no team or player names. If a tournament runs several times a year, the same design can be reordered with the date changed.

High school programs give fewer, more formal awards at a banquet: most valuable player, pitcher of the year, a hitting award, a fielding award, captains and a coach’s award.

Every player, earned awards and a perpetual

Whether every player gets something is a familiar argument in youth baseball. Participation awards sets out when it works and how to keep earned awards distinct from it.

A league can also keep one award at the field or the clubhouse that gains a name every year: a league champion, a volunteer of the year or a memorial award. Perpetual trophies explains how many plates to plan for.

For graduating players, see senior night gift ideas; for the coach, coach gift ideas. Adult and company leagues are covered on the softball trophies page.

What to send us

  • The league, team or tournament name and logo.
  • The divisions or age brackets, with a roster count for each.
  • Which divisions give an award to every player and which give earned awards only.

You receive a design proof and approve it before anything is produced. Request a quote against your date. More sports and events are listed in the Recognition Library.

Baseball Trophies FAQs

What trophies does a youth baseball league need?

An award for every player in the youngest divisions, champion awards for each older division, and a short list of individual awards such as MVP, pitcher of the year, batting champion and a sportsmanship award.

What do travel ball tournaments give?

Champion and finalist awards for every player in each age bracket, and often a tournament MVP. They are made before the event, so they carry the tournament name and bracket instead of team names.

Are your baseball trophies the figure-on-a-column kind?

No. We design each award from the league’s or team’s own artwork in acrylic, wood and metal. A standard batter figure on a column is a catalog product, and a catalog supplier is the right place for one.

Can statistics go on the award?

They can, but most leagues leave them off. The award name carries the honor, and a number invites an argument about how it was scored.

How early should a league send its list?

As soon as divisions and roster counts are settled. Tell us the date of closing day when you request a quote and we will work back from it.

Can a league order for all its divisions at once?

Yes, and it is the better way. One design with the division changed on each set makes the league’s awards look like they belong together.

CLOSING DAY COMING?

Send the divisions and roster counts

Tell us the league or tournament, the divisions, the number of players in each and the date. We design the awards and send a proof.

A league can reorder the same design next season with the year changed.
