Pickleball Trophies & Medals
Custom medals and trophies for tournaments, leagues and club events, counted by bracket so nobody goes home without one
Short answer
Pickleball tournaments are run in brackets by format, skill level and often age, and each bracket awards first, second and third. Most are doubles, so every placing needs two awards. That makes medals the usual choice: custom acrylic medallions on neck ribbons in gold, silver and bronze colorways, with a trophy reserved for overall or club champions. We cut medallions to any shape, print them in full color with your event artwork, and send a design proof before anything is produced. There is no minimum order.

Why pickleball runs on medals
The arithmetic decides it. A modest club tournament with men’s, women’s and mixed doubles at three skill levels has nine brackets. Three placings in each, two players per team, is fifty-four awards before anyone thinks about singles or age groups. Trophies at that count fill a truck; medals fit in a box and every winner can wear one for the photo.
Our medallion awards are printed and cut to shape and worn on a neck ribbon. The shape can be a paddle, a ball, the club crest or the event logo, and gold, silver and bronze placings can share one design printed in three colorways.
For the awards that should stand on a shelf, such as club champions or a tournament’s overall winners, see custom awards.

Player pins
A small event pin for every entrant, as a keepsake of the day.

Volunteer and referee thanks
For the people who ran the desk and the courts all weekend.
Work out how many you need
Count brackets first, then multiply. This worked example is for a small club tournament.
| Format | Skill levels | Placings | Players per team | Medals |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Men’s doubles | 3 | 3 | 2 | 18 |
| Women’s doubles | 3 | 3 | 2 | 18 |
| Mixed doubles | 3 | 3 | 2 | 18 |
| Total | 9 brackets | 54 |
- Singles brackets: add three medals each.
- Age groups: every age split multiplies the bracket count, so decide these before you order.
- Combined brackets: small entries are often merged on the day. Ordering medals that name the event and placing but not the bracket means a merged bracket does not leave you with unusable awards.
- Spares: a few extra of each color cover a late-added bracket or a lost medal.
What to put on a pickleball medal or trophy
A medal has little room, so keep it to the event name, the year and the placing. Leaving the bracket off keeps one design usable across the whole tournament.

Company, charity and community events
Pickleball has become a common choice for company outings and fundraisers because beginners can play a real game within the hour. These events do not need skill brackets. Run a single round-robin or a simple bracket and award:
- Medals for the top three teams.
- One or two light-hearted awards, such as best rally or best team name. Funny award ideas has more.
- A medal or pin for every player if the aim is participation rather than competition. Participation awards looks at when that is the right call.
- A thank-you for the sponsor and the host venue.
Other company event pages, including golf, bowling and cornhole, are listed in the Recognition Library.
What to send us
- The event or club name, the year and any logo.
- Your bracket list, or simply the number of gold, silver and bronze medals from your own count.
- Any trophies needed for overall or club champions.
- Whether the event repeats, so the design can be reordered with the year changed.
We send a design proof and you approve it before anything is produced. Tell us the tournament date and request a quote against it.
Pickleball Trophies & Medals FAQs
Do pickleball tournaments give medals or trophies?
Mostly medals, because each bracket awards first, second and third and most brackets are doubles. Trophies are usually kept for club champions or overall winners.
How many medals do I need for a pickleball tournament?
Multiply the number of brackets by three placings, then by two for doubles. Nine doubles brackets need fifty-four medals. Add three per singles bracket and a few spares.
Can the medals be shaped like a paddle or our club logo?
Yes. Acrylic medallions are cut to any shape and printed in full color, and worn on a neck ribbon.
Should the bracket be printed on each medal?
Usually not. A medal with the event, year and placing can be used for any bracket, which helps when small brackets are combined on the day.
Can a small club order only a few medals?
Yes. There is no minimum, so a handful of medals for a club social is fine.
Can we reorder the same design next year?
Yes. The design can be repeated with the year changed, so an annual tournament’s medals match from year to year.
