Boxing Trophies & Medals
Awards for amateur tournaments, club shows and the gym’s own year-end night, designed from your artwork
Short answer
A boxing tournament awards a champion and runner-up in every weight class, often split again by age group and by novice and open experience, plus a few honors such as outstanding boxer and best bout. A club show awards each bout. A gym’s year-end night recognizes its own fighters and coaches. We design all three from your gym or event artwork and build them in acrylic, wood and metal, cut to shape and printed in full color. Any quantity is fine, from one trophy up, and you sign off on a design proof before production starts.

Awards that look like your gym
Boxing has a strong visual identity of its own: the gloves, the ring, the gym crest that is on every shirt and banner. Generic boxing figures do not carry any of that. A designed award can.
We build custom awards from your logo: a layered acrylic piece cut to the shape of a pair of gloves or your crest, with the event, the weight class and the result printed on it. For the many matching pieces a tournament needs, the same artwork goes on medallions.
One thing we do not make is championship belts. If your event awards belts, we can make the trophies, plaques and medals that go alongside them in the same design.
Boxing awards by type

Weight-class champions
One award per class, per age group and per experience level. The piece a boxer keeps from the tournament.

Runner-up and bout medals
A medal for the runner-up in each class, and at club shows a medal for both boxers in every bout.

Outstanding boxer
Chosen by officials or coaches at the end of the tournament. Some events name one for novice and one for open.

Best bout of the night
For both boxers in the bout the crowd will still be talking about. A matched pair of awards.

Team and gym awards
Top team by points or by champions, and the gym’s own boxer of the year and most improved.

Coaches and officials
A plaque for the coach in the corner all season, and thanks for the judges, referees and ringside volunteers.
Tournaments, club shows and charity bouts
Each kind of boxing event needs a different set. Plan from the format, not from a generic list.
| Event | Usual awards | What goes on them |
|---|---|---|
| Bracket tournament | Champion and runner-up per weight class, outstanding boxer, top team | Event, weight class or “Champion,” year |
| Club show | One award or medal per boxer per bout, best bout of the night | Event name and date; winner and loser often get the same piece |
| Charity or corporate bout night | A trophy per boxer, fight of the night, top fundraiser | Event name, the cause, the date |
| Gym year-end night | Boxer of the year, most improved, coach’s award, volunteer thanks | Award name, boxer’s name, year |
Many club shows give both boxers the same award, because every bout at that level is a step forward for each of them. Participation awards covers when that works and how to keep it separate from the earned prizes.
Counting awards for a tournament
Weight classes times divisions times places, the same arithmetic as any bracket sport. The difference in boxing is the split by experience: novice and open classes often run side by side, and youth, junior and adult age groups can each have their own classes. A class with only one entry may still produce a champion, so count from the entry list once it closes, not from the brackets you hoped to fill.
Leave the weight off the award if you can. A piece that says “Champion,” the tournament and the year fits every class, which means one spare covers whichever class turns up an extra entry. If you want the weight printed, order one per class and tell us the list.

The gym’s own awards
Most boxing gyms are small, and the year-end night is about the people who show up every morning, not only those who fought. Boxer of the year, most improved, hardest worker, a youth award, and a plaque for the coach who has been in the corner for every bout. For more award names see sports award categories, and for planning the night see end-of-season awards.
A gym title that changes hands each year, such as a club championship decided in sparring or a fitness challenge, suits a perpetual trophy that stays on the gym wall with a plate per winner. Combat sports run on belts and grades, such as karate and judo, are on martial arts medals.
What to send us
- The gym or event name and logo.
- The weight classes, age groups and experience divisions, or the bout card for a club show.
- The individual honors: outstanding boxer, best bout, top team.
- Names for gym awards, spelled as the boxer prefers.
- The date the awards must be in hand.
A design proof comes to you first, and production waits for your approval. Ask us for the current lead time against your event date; how far in advance to order explains how to plan backward. More sports are in the Recognition Library, including wrestling.
Boxing Trophies & Medals FAQs
Do you make boxing championship belts?
No. We make trophies, plaques, medals and pins in acrylic, wood and metal. We can design those to match the event if belts come from elsewhere.
How many awards does a boxing tournament need?
Count weight classes times age groups times experience divisions, then the places you award in each. Add outstanding boxer, best bout and team awards on top, and count from the closed entry list.
Should both boxers in a club show bout get an award?
Many club shows give both boxers the same award or medal. It is your choice; tell us which and we count accordingly.
Can the award be cut in the shape of boxing gloves?
Yes. Acrylic is cut to shape and printed in full color, so the piece can follow a pair of gloves, your crest or the event logo.
Can we order a single award for one boxer?
Yes. There is no minimum order, so one boxer-of-the-year trophy is a normal order.
Can the same design be used every year?
Yes. The design is kept, so an annual tournament can reorder with the year changed and the awards match.
