Bowling Trophies
Custom awards for leagues, tournaments and company bowling nights, designed around your league’s name and logo
Short answer
A bowling league usually awards a matching trophy to each member of the champion team, individual awards for high game, high series and high average, and a most improved award at the end-of-season banquet. A company bowling night needs far less: a winning team set and a couple of fun awards. We design either around your league or company logo in acrylic, wood and metal, cut to shape and printed in full color, with no minimum order and a design proof before anything is produced.

Awards for a season, or for one night
Bowling has two very different kinds of award order. A league runs for months, keeps detailed statistics and ends with a banquet where a dozen awards are handed out. A company or charity bowling night lasts one evening, half the room has not bowled in years, and the awards are mostly about a good time.
Both are better with trophies that say whose event it was. A league’s name and logo, a company’s branding or a charity’s mark can be the shape of the award itself, since acrylic is cut to any outline and printed in full color.
See custom awards for designs built from scratch. Leagues that want the same piece for every member of a large roster often choose semi-custom awards, which put custom artwork on a stock body.
What a bowling league awards

League champions
One matching trophy per team member, with the team name, the league and the season.

High game
The best single game of the season. Often split into scratch and handicap, and into men’s and women’s.

High series
The best total across a night’s games. Split the same way as high game.

High average
The season-long measure, and the award serious league bowlers care most about.

Most improved
The biggest rise in average over the season. The one award a newer bowler can win.

Milestone pins
Small pins for a personal best or a perfect attendance season, handed out through the year.
An award list to copy
A full league banquet list looks like this. Smaller leagues drop the splits and present one award per line.
| Award | How many | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| League champions | One per team member | Team name and season on each |
| Second place team | One per team member | Same design, smaller |
| High game, scratch | 1 or 2 | Split men’s and women’s in a mixed league |
| High game, handicap | 1 or 2 | As above |
| High series, scratch | 1 or 2 | As above |
| High series, handicap | 1 or 2 | As above |
| High average | 1 or 2 | Decided on the final night |
| Most improved | 1 or 2 | Compare first and final averages |
| League officer thanks | 1 | For the secretary who kept the sheets all season |
Individual award winners are often not final until the last night. Make those trophies with the award and season on them and add a name plate afterward, or wait for final standings before sending names.
Company bowling nights and fundraisers
For a one-night event, simplify. Nobody has a handicap and nobody wants a ten-minute awards ceremony.
- Winning team: a matching award for each member.
- High game of the night: one award, announced from the score screens.
- Fun awards: most gutter balls, best celebration, best team shirts. See funny award ideas for more, and keep them good-natured.
- A perpetual for the office: if the night is annual, a trophy that returns each year with a new team plate gives departments something to argue about. Perpetual trophies explains how to plan one.
- Sponsor thanks: for a charity night with lane sponsors, see sponsor plaques.
If several departments compete across more than one event through the year, team awards covers matching sets.
What to put on a bowling trophy
League, award, season. For team awards add the team name; for individual awards add the bowler’s name once it is known.

Bowling seasons often span two calendar years, so write the season as a range. Scores are best left off: the award name says enough, and a number invites a recount. More examples are in the plaque wording guide.
What to send us
- The league or event name, the season or date, and any logo.
- The award list, with the number of members per team.
- Team and bowler names where they are already known.
- Whether the same design should be kept for next season.
We send a design proof and you approve it before anything is produced. Tell us the banquet or event date and request a quote against it. More guides for leagues and company events are in the Recognition Library.
Bowling Trophies FAQs
What awards does a bowling league usually give?
A trophy for each member of the champion team, plus individual awards for high game, high series, high average and most improved. Many leagues split the individual awards into scratch and handicap.
How many trophies does a company bowling night need?
Far fewer than a league: one per member of the winning team, one for high game of the night and one or two fun awards.
Can the trophies carry our league or company logo?
Yes. Awards are designed around your artwork and printed in full color, and acrylic can be cut to the shape of the logo or of a pin or ball.
Can names be added after the final night?
Plan for it. Awards can be made with the award name and season and a name plate planned for once the standings are final. Tell us when you request the quote.
Can we order a single award for a company bowling night?
Yes. There is no minimum, so one perpetual trophy or one high-game award is fine.
Can we reorder the same trophies next season?
Yes. The design can be repeated with the season changed, so each year’s awards match the last.
