Flag Football Trophies
Youth, adult rec and company league awards, built for small rosters, many divisions and a one-day finale
Short answer
Flag football awards are ordered differently from tackle football. Rosters are small, a league runs many divisions at once, and the season often ends in a one-day tournament where every division crowns a champion on the same field. That calls for one design repeated across divisions: a medal or small trophy for every player on the winning team, a champion trophy for the team, and an MVP. We make flag football awards from your league logo in acrylic, wood and metal. There is no minimum order, and production starts only after you sign off on a design proof.

Many small rosters, one design
A flag football league can have a dozen divisions: youth age groups, girls’ divisions, co-ed and open adult divisions, and a company league on a weeknight. Each one is small, five to ten players on most rosters, so the awards are many sets of a few pieces each. One design with the division changed on the team trophy keeps the whole league looking like one program.
That makes semi-custom awards the natural fit: your league artwork on a stock body, the HD Series or the WB Series, repeated for every division. For the youngest players, medallion awards cut in the shape of a flag belt or a football are easy to hand out on the field.
Tackle football banquets, with position awards and large rosters, are covered on football trophies. This page is about the flag game.
Flag football awards we make

Division champions
A team trophy per division and a matching piece for every rostered player and coach.

Tournament medals
Champion and runner-up medals for each division at the end-of-season tournament, cut to a football or flag shape.

Division MVP
One per division, usually the quarterback’s to lose. Consider a defensive MVP too, for the best flag puller.

Youth participation awards
A piece for every player in the youngest divisions, in the same design as the champion medals.

Company league awards
A plaque or trophy the winning department keeps in the office, with the company name and the season.

League perpetual
One trophy for the open division that returns each season with the champion team added.
Youth, adult rec and company leagues
Who is playing changes the order more than the game does.
| Youth league | Adult rec league | Company league | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Divisions | By age, often girls’ divisions too | Open, co-ed, sometimes by skill | One or two, by department or company |
| Who gets an award | Often every player; champions get more | Champions, maybe runner-up | The winning team and a few individuals |
| Usual piece | Medals, small trophies | Team trophy and player keepers | Plaque or trophy for the office |
| Extras | Coaches and volunteer thank-yous | MVP, perpetual for the top division | MVP, sportsmanship, a gag award |
For a company league, a lighter award often sits next to the real ones. Funny award ideas has names that stay friendly.
The one-day tournament finale
Many leagues end the season with a tournament: every division plays its bracket on the same day, on several fields, and champions are crowned one after another. The awards need to be sorted by division before the day, or a volunteer will be opening boxes at the scorer’s table with a crowd waiting.
- Count each division’s largest roster, add the coaches, and add one spare per division.
- Keep the division off the player medals and on the team trophy only, so a spare medal works on any field.
- Bag each division’s set separately with the team trophy on top.
- Name a person to present on each field, so finals that end at the same time are not left waiting.

Season awards worth giving
Flag football rewards different skills from tackle. A short list of individual awards that fits the game:
- Offensive MVP, often the quarterback or the leading receiver.
- Defensive MVP, for the most flag pulls or interceptions.
- Best hands, for the player who caught everything thrown near them.
- Most improved, especially in the youngest divisions where every player starts new.
- Sportsmanship, which many leagues treat as seriously as the championship.
For the MVP piece, see MVP trophies. Longer category lists are in sports award categories, and the season party is on end-of-season awards.

Flag Football Trophies FAQs
Do flag football leagues give trophies or medals?
Both are common. Youth leagues often give medals to every player and a trophy to each division champion. Adult and company leagues usually give a team trophy and keepers for the champions.
How many awards does a flag football tournament need?
For each division, the largest roster plus coaches for the champions, the same again if you award runners-up, one team trophy, and one spare.
Can the medal be shaped like a flag or a football?
Yes. Acrylic medals are cut to any outline and printed in full color.
Do you make awards for company flag football leagues?
Yes. A plaque or trophy for the winning team with the company name and season, plus MVP and sportsmanship awards, is a common order.
Is there a minimum order?
No. One division’s awards are a normal order, as is a full league.
Can we reorder the same design each season?
Yes. The design is kept and reordered with the season changed, so every division and every season matches.
